Stone material
Stone materials are natural products of different chemical components (dolomite, calcite) and different granulation (in accordance with customer’s needs and norm requirements) which are mostly used in construction industry. By granulometry standards stone materials are divided into two groups – aggregates and crushed stone.
Crushed stone
Crushed stone is stone material made of dolime or calcium lime which has the granulation of more than 31,5mm. It is used in civil engineering for stowing and surfacing, maintaining of rail infrastructure, as drainage, for canal stowing and similar construction works as well as in industry. We produce it using our own dolomite and calcium lime deposits in Sirač and calcium lime deposits in Ličko Lešće.
Aggregats
Aggregates are stone materials made of dolime or calcium lime which have the granulation of less than 31,5mm. It is used in construction industry. We produce it using our own dolomite and calcium lime deposits in Sirač and calcium lime deposits in Ličko Lešće.
Quick lime
Quick Lime (CaO) is the product obtained by annealing (calcification) of calcite and dolomite at specified temperatures. Calcification is performed in the specially constructed Maerz furnaces that enable the production of high quality and purity lime and the final product fulfils the highest existing standards.
Hydrated lime
Hydrated lime (Ca(OH)2) is a dry powder obtained by treating quicklime with sufficient water to satisfy its chemical affinity for water, thereby converting the oxides to hydroxides. Reaction result is a lime hydrate of very fine granulation whose size can be adapted to the customer’s needs.
