OUR PLANT IN LIČKO LEŠĆE PUBLICLY RECOGNIZED

Our plant in Ličko Lešće was awarded by the County Assembly for the outstanding contribution in the development of the construction building production with special care for the environment protection.

On the ceremonial County Assembly conference held on May, 22nd to celebrate the Day of the Lika and Senj  county,Mr. Milan  Jurković handed the award to  Mr. Danijel Malenica, director of the Lika lime factory.

We are very proud because it is a clear message that the local community recognized our efforts to modernize the Lika lime factory. At the same time it represents a commitment to strive to further improve the factory working in accordance with the principles of the sustainable development.

CROATIAN LIME PRODUCERS IN LIČKO LEŠĆE

On May, 14th the regular meeting of the Croatian Lime Producers Group which is a part of GIU PROMINS ASSOCIATION , was held in Ličko Lešće.

Representatives of all three Croatian lime producers were discussing production, sales, and import/export of lime products in the past year as well as the current topics such as refund for CO2 emission, problems regarding environmental permits and new quarry regulations.

Kamen Sirač d.d. being the host of the meeting, presented the investment cycle in its production plant Ličko Lešće, whose value is over 20 Mio kunas. We have invested into production plant modernisation, development of new products and above all into environment protection.

First two phases of the waste water treatment system were set in motion as were the filters  on the lime kiln and on the installation for hydrated lime.

The next meeting will be held in Raša in mid September.

SIRAČ - 27.03.2009.

In the premises of our company internal education course titled LIME – PRODUCTION took place. Sales representatives from all our companies took part. The lecture was held by Mr. Tomislav Horvat, the Production Director.

 

GRAMES - BANJA LUKA 2009.

Our companies participated in another Construction Fair from March 18th till March 23rd.

SKOPJE 2009.

Building Construction Fair took place this year from March 3rd till March 7th.We participated traditionally with our sister company Kumal.

ISO 14001

At the end of 2008 certification audit according to the International Norm ISO14001:2004 was successfully held. We integrated the demands of environment management into the existing system of quality management according to the Norm ISOO 9001:2001.

PARK OF SCULPTURES ERECTED

Park of SCULPTURES created adjacent to the Administration Building of Kamen Sirač in Sirač covers the area of 4800 m2 and has been donated to the inhabitants of Sirač as an act of gratitude for their centennial support.

Agrolime is evenly spread using machines adapted for flour materials.
